AscentAi is a small business based in Chatham-Kent, Ontario. We keep this simple: we only collect what we need to help you, we do not sell your information, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us:

When you book a Business Health Check: your name and email (required), and your phone number, business name, preferred time, and any notes (optional).
When you sign up for our guide or updates: your email address.
When you use the free Website Health Snapshot: the website address you enter. We fetch that page to analyze it and show you the results. We keep a record of which address was checked and the resulting score so we can understand how the tool is used and follow up if it looks like we could help. That record is tied only to the same anonymous daily visitor code described below, never to your name or email unless you separately give it to us.

We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies. Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your own browser and is never sent to us.

How we count visits

We measure our own website traffic with a simple counter we built ourselves. It uses no cookies and stores no personal information: we record which page was viewed, the type of device (phone or desktop), and which site referred you, along with an anonymous identifier that changes every day and cannot be traced back to you. Your IP address is never stored. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, we do not count the visit at all.

The chat assistant

If you use the chat bubble on our site, your messages are sent to Google's Gemini service to generate a reply, and we keep a copy of the conversation so we can follow up and improve our answers. Please do not type sensitive personal information into the chat. If you share your email there, we treat it the same as any other signup: to follow up with you, never to sell or share.

How we use it

To respond to your booking request and arrange your consultation.
To send you the guide or updates you asked for.
To run the free tool you requested.

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not send marketing emails you did not ask for.

Who else is involved

To run this website we use a hosting provider, which stores our website and database on secure servers. If we send you email, we may use a reputable email delivery service to do so. These providers only process your information so we can operate, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and contact details for as long as needed to serve you and to keep reasonable business records, and no longer than necessary. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To unsubscribe from updates, use the link in any email or just email us. We will always respond.
